What is Teamer?

Teamer is an online team management system that uses text messaging and email to solve the headaches of organizing your team.

How much does it cost?

For a team organizer it's always free. Setting up a team page, notifying players, managing your season won't cost you a thing in any country. In fact, we think Teamer is going to save you money! How many phone calls are you making each week to organize your team? Each one is costing you money, not to mention valuable time. Our unique notification system saves you time and money. For players, using the website and email notification system is always free. In the UK, Ireland and Australia all messages that leave the system are free, players who respond pay no more than their standard rate charged by the phone company, so it's the same as texting a friend, Teamer adds no additional charge.
In the USA the cost of providing text message functionality is such that there is a $1/month + standard text rates subscription fee to avail of Teamer's text messaging functionality. The fee appears on your monthly bill, you can unsubscribe any time and you will never have to enter a credit card online. return to top

What makes Teamer's notification system unique?

We use email and text messaging to notify your entire team. From personal experiences we know that often email isn't enough to reach people, so our notification system uses 'closed loop' text messaging to ensure the team leader reaches all players and is updated in real-time as to their availability. If a player isn't available, you can use our auto-notify feature to call up a replacement. The goal is to cut the time and cost involved in organizing your team.

What is 'closed loop' text messaging?

Most online text messaging systems send a notification, but don't gather and store the response. With 'closed loop' text messaging, replies are picked up on the teamPage and displayed to the organiser, so he/she knows exactly how the team is shaping up.

What is auto-notify?

Auto-notify will call up a replacement player if one of your starters is unavailable. When sending out your game notifications, you can select standby players. If the starter is unable to play, Teamer automatically notifies the standby and stores their response.

How secure is my teamPage?

I run a kids team and I am worried about privacy issues. Who can access our teampage?

Your teampage is a private, invite only space. Only people you have invited get access. We suggest that you also assign your Child Protection Officer as an organiser to each team so they can monitor each teampage.
